Thanks to Solar Sons, We Look Forward to Mondays.

Started in November 2014 by LA natives and cousins Troy Vincent on lead guitar and vocals & Ned Casual on bass and backing vocals (both formerly of LA blues band The Downtown Train), Solar Sons play a unique blend of funk, psychedelic, blues, jazz, tribal, dance grooves, and rock & roll which they’ve dubbed “Jazzedelic Space Groove”. They have been honing their skills and crafting this new sound on their home stage at Goodtimes at Davey Wayne’s every Monday night, where they provide a groovy, organic, and soulful soundtrack for the throngs of dancers and romancers that frequent the popular Hollywood bar.
They have been joined by their good friends and talented musicians- Princess Frank on drums and Roberto Rodriguez Salguero on percussion & drums. In this chaotic day in age, this group of artists comes together to share their love, light, and positive energy with the beautiful city of Los Angeles, and soon the world as they plan to release their debut recordings this summer.

We encourage all to check out this refreshing and original new group at groovy happenings like The Blind Spot Project, Echo Park Rising, FeedLAFest @ HM157, Desert Daze, their Monday night residency at Good Times At Davey Waynes, and more…. it’s boogie time!
