An Extension To Your Weekend.

School Night, a concert series dedicated to throwing great shows during the school week, put together a line up yesterday that justified a late Monday night out. The show started slow with a gentle yet refined performance from STACEY, a singer-songwriter from Toronto, and evolved into a mix of funk, psychedelia, and alternative rock when Austin based artist, Star Parks took the stage and performed for their first time in LA. Australian artist, Darren Hart of “Harts“, continued down the rabbit hole of blues laden psychedelia. The last LA debut performance of the night came from the nights headliner, R.LUM.R, who’s sounds and crowd quickly filled the intimate empty spaces of Bardot. R.LUM.R served a sonic soup of, R&B, and soul music, underlined by electronic synths and warm bass lines that left the crowd with no choice but to admire and dance.
Monday’s aren’t a typical night out, but some of our favorite events fall on Monday, School Night at Bardot is a perfect example. Download our app to stay on top of Mondays.
